Kim Schroeder, owner of Charisma had always envisioned a retail store front with a small town feel to showcase her work, and that is why she chose Academy Road. The charm and history of the area appealed to her, as it does to many of us Winnipeggers.
Kim is also the principal designer who heads up the design team at Charisma; she graduated from the University of Manitoba with the gold medal in Interior Design. In 1986, Ms. Schroeder established Charisma with the vision to make “good design” more accessible to the average consumer. As a result, Charisma has earned a reputation for professionalism, creativity and accessibility. Some of their clients include Rae & Jerry’s, Coughlin Insurance Office, Gondola Pizza and Huron Windows Showroom.
