Moss prides herself in being able to provide her customers, many for the first time, in a properly fitting bra. Regardless of your size, shape or age, Eyelet Dove will offer the solution. For Moss, owning her business is much more than numbers and profit. Moss is not only committed to her business, but to her clients, her storefront and her BIZ. She plays one small, yet terribly important role in many of her clients' lives who are battling breast cancer. She has been intimately involved with patients and organizations concerned with women’s health since the inception of her business in 1978. As well, Mindy has created a garden, named after her first client who lost their battle with cancer, and to this day, plants one pink tulip for each new client she helps.

Eyelet Dove is Winnipeg's oldest lingerie boutique, however, Moss never rests on her past successes. Traveling to New York, Miami and Vancouver, Moss is on a never ending quest for bringing the newest and finest undergarments and swim ware to Winnipeg women. Many of the lines are exclusive in Winnipeg, including Gottex swimwear and PJ Salvage sleepwear.

By being the local expert in the zone, many new business owners look to Moss for advice and guidance. And as much as the Academy Road BIZ board sees her as an amazing example of what makes a truly inspirational business owner, she appreciates the opportunities and harmonious community that the BIZ offers her and her fellow business owners.

Moss' commitment has recently been acknowledged with winning the City of Winnipeg Mayor's Award for the Academy Road BIZ.

Academy Road BIZ is a member of the umbrella group, Winnipeg Business Improvement Zone Association, in which a volunteer board works to create awareness for the merchants, patrons and residents of each zone that they represent.

Consumers and businesses typically notice positive changes when businesses gain control of their business area and oversee functions like streetscaping and marketing.
