Cornelia Bean’s ‘BREWT', a tea infuser created and perfected by owner Bob Krul, is one of the main attractions for customers and is sold across Canada in retail stores.
Cornelia Bean carries over 300 loose leaf teas and is committed to using only the best leaves for their tea products. They are famous for the selection of high-grade, international flavours and introducing new kinds and styles of tea to the Winnipeg area, including their renowned Oolong selection of teas. New teas arrive weekly, many with only a limited supply. “There are amazing teas coming in all the time,” Krul proclaimed.“It is worth checking out the store for teas on a weekly basis as there is always something new.”
Cornelia Bean’s soon to be upgraded website will be launched this fall, creating a new interactive, informative site. One component new to the site will be the ability to look up teas relating to specific health specifications and/or taste specifications. The site will also feature a more user-friendly e-commerce side, promoting more international growth and sales. Along with their new website, Cornelia Bean is also starting to get involved on Facebook, communicating constant updates to what's new and interesting within the store to its followers.
 Coffee is one side to Cornelia Bean, bringing new and exotic coffees to an already extensive menu. Chocolate is taking on more prominence in the store and Cornelia Bean is starting to prepare and pair its indulgent chocolate with tea and coffee selections. They will also host in-store chocolate demonstrations and sampling, and make truffles for the holiday season.
Upon visiting the store, you will see the front counter laden with sniffing jars for each tea they carry. The sniffing jars allow the customer to use the distinct aroma of each tea as part of their buying. A courteous staff will help guide through the different groupings and find teas that will be most appealing.
