Emergency Financial Assistance Sends Kids to Camp
The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba was able to provide an emergency grant of $1,442 for eight children to attend the day camp at the Rady Jewish Community Centre.
“This gift allowed children, who would not otherwise have been able to, to attend our summer day camp."

Sleeping No Longer A Dream!
The Women’s Endowment Fund at the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba provided a grant of $2,814 to Knowles Centre Inc. to replace the dilapidated furniture in the two girls' bedrooms. “We believe the children at Knowles Centre are worthy of a bedroom that contributes to their healing, and not an unwelcoming space,” says Michael Burdz, Chief Executive Officer at the Knowles Centre. Wanda Neill Tolboom Trophy Recognizes Students
The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba and Wulfert Tolboom presented the Wanda Neill Tolboom Trophy to Camila Aprosoff and Dafna Schultz at the Gray Academy of Jewish Education’s grade 6 farewell ceremony. “Wanda loved teaching and was very dedicated to her students,” says Mr. Tolboom. “Her passion for teaching rubbed off on her students as she was very much loved by them.” Read more...
