4/5 and grade 5 classes raised $590 for Empty
Bowls. This translates into $11800 worth

Donation
March
12 th - March 16 th was Operation Donation for
Winnipeg Harvest at Van Walleghem School. Students
were asked to bring in a non- perishable food
item and our goal was to have one item per student.
We definitely beat our goal! Our total amount
of items was 849 items which translates to 1435
pounds of food for Winnipeg Harvest.

Twenty
Three VW Staff Members have formed a team and
registered in the upcoming MS Walk. The
Walk is held on Sunday, April 29th, with all pledges
supporting Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
