Students can use the Tag to help with words in the story or have the Tag read the story while they follow along. The Tag reader pen also lets you interact with the setting and illustrations in the book through fun activities. A number of tag readers and book sets have been purchased to be used by students as a learning tool.

"And how old is your sister," asked Mr. Burns.  "I don't know that ... yet," replied Vince, a Grade 1 student.

What a great attitude! For Vince it appears that there are 2 types of knowledge.  There are the things he knows, and then there are the things he doesn't know yet! This is the attitude of a life-long learner.  Exactly the type of attitude that every employer would like to see in their leading employees.

You will find our current school plan goals and our last year's community report   here.  Plans for this year include a focus on best practice in literacy instruction from K-8 and on strategies for enhancing the success of our English as a Second Language learners.

The excitement is growing for our holiday concert to be held at Church of the Rock on December 15th at 7:00 pm.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a season filled with beautiful moments and cherished memories.
