Channel Systems Inc., an innovative technology company in Pinawa, is developing world-class scientific imaging systems for clients around the world. The latest example was the recent delivery of their nuclear fuel safeguards system to a customer in Italy. Following the training session that was conducted near Milan, the scientists were impressed by the Canadian-built system and felt that they could conduct their research with confidence.

Channel Systems has just agreed to develop another specialized imaging system for police forensic work in the United Kingdom. Forensic researchers there plan to use the Channel Systems' instrument to detect finger prints using a novel approach called infrared multispectral imaging.

According to Dennis Chen, President of Channel Systems, the company has been a pioneer in the development of innovative imaging systems for scientific and industrial applications. The company is located on the Whiteshell Research Site, near the town of Pinawa, MB.
