A camoflaged Goldenrod Spider feasts on a small butterfly on top of a pink Sweet William. Photo N. Bremner

A tiny visitor, Cope's Grey Tree Frog, has been living in the flower pots on my deck.

Although green the frog is a Cope's Grey Tree Frog perched on a life on my deck. N. Bremner

A lovely garnish this Tawny Crescent Butterfly Phyciodes batesii joined me after lunch.

This little butterfly rested on my plate at lunch. N. Bremner

Although this is a Damselfly, I believe it could be a male Western Dark-winged Damselfly Calopteryx aequabile

So numerous my books don't have all the dragonflies and damselflies I see on a daily trek on the Alice Chambers Trail Photo N. Bremner.

This lovely buck with antlers in velvet was resting in a neighbour's front yard.  Notice the flowers safely out of reach.

A prime buck with beautiful antlers still in velvet resting on a neighbour's front yard. N. Bremner
