"Behold the turtle. It makes progress only when it sticks its neck out."

Be a turtle; stick your neck out and come to a

Job Quest workshop!

Job Quest provides free professional and confidential job search services to adults in the Selkirk & District and Northeast Interlake.  Our 6 regularly scheduled workshops will enhance your lifelong learning journey by helping you develop the essential tools and skills to access meaningful employment.

Click on each workshop title to find out more about our established workshops:

Resume Writing, Interview Preparation, Career Planning and

Job Search.  Drop by or phone (204) 482-2111 (toll free

866-482-2100) to resgister, and you are on your way! Pre-registering is a must for the workshops!

Why not take a chance and register for one of our 2 NEW workshops!

Cover Letter Writing is a 1/2-day workshop to learn how to write a letter that responds to an ad or accompanies a resume you submit for a position you would like, but that has not been advertised.

PLAR Build Your Career Portfolio is a hands-on workshop that runs for two 1/2-days, then has scheduled optional "Portfolio Doer's group" sessions so you can work at your own pace to complete a portfolio.  This workshop really helps you clarify your career path; and, it helps you assess your present skills and knowledge, preparing you very well for an interview you will have in your future.  Most, importantly, it highlights what you can really DO for a potential employer and proves it with documented evidence you can show a potential employer at an interview.

Turtles are also notorious for being slow and steady, but winning the race!  Be a turtle!
