    Interlake Employment Services

Interlake Employment Services (I.E.S.) is a unique model for people living with non-physical disabilities, such as, intellectual, developmental or psychological disabilities, that require assistance in entering the labour market.

Individual assistance is available throughout the process of preparing for, securing and maintaining employment.

These jobs are paid positions in a socially integrated, competitive work setting.

I.E.S. offers services in the following areas:

  • Arborg
  • Ashern
  • Eriksdale
  • Fisher Branch
  • Gimli
  • Lundar
  • Moosehorn
  • Riverton
  • Selkirk
  • Stonewall
  • Teulon
  • Warren
  • And surrounding communities

The Province of Manitoba has proclaimed October as Supported Employment Month. Take part in your community and support the I.E.S. office nearest you.

You can only call the place in which you live a community when all people are accepted equally.

Call the Stonewall office at (204) 467-2061 or the Selkirk office at (204) 482-6009 and ask how you can be part of your community.

InkBank

Recycle your empty inkjet and laser cartridges to help us earn money!

The Selkirk & District Community Learning Centre have enrolled in a wonderful new fundraising program called InkBank Cartridge Recycling.  This program offers us an almost effortless way to raise money to support our projects - and to protect our planet.  We earn money simply by recycling used printer, fax and copier cartridges that were destined for the trash.

Here's How You Can Help:

  • Save your inkjet or laser cartridges you use at home, workplace or business.
  • Ask friends, family, employers to help support our fundraising efforts.
  • Collect only eligible cartridges.
  • Drop off the empty cartridges to the Selkirk Learning Centre or call to arrange for pick up (204) 482-2111.
  • NOTE:  Previously recycled or remanufactured cartridges cannot be accepted.
